Opening a yoga studio started off as a dream back in 2022. That dream became reality when Yoga with Kileen opened its doors in February of 2024. The inside of the studio is greatly inspired by nature and has a lot to offer. The goal was to create a comfortable and emotionally safe environment where people could come together to practice yoga. Whether members are driven by fitness goals, or simply looking for a form of stress relief, this studio welcomes all.

Meet Kileen

Hello, here is a little bit about me. I am originally from Florida but was raised here in Georgia. I am 31 years old and a mother to two human children and two fur children.

I enjoy yoga, painting, kayaking, and anything outdoors with my family. I have been actively doing yoga for over 7 years now, but some major life changes back in 2020 started my journey to become a yoga teacher. I enrolled in teacher training at Peachtree Yoga in February 2022 and graduated June 2022.
I have been teaching since. I continue to learn and grow every class and am excited to see what the future holds.

Meet Melody

Melody began teaching yoga in 2018- fresh out of Savannah Yoga Center’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program. Continued trainings including Yin Yoga and Trauma Sensitive Yoga have influenced her style- her classes are beginner friendly, focusing on student-led progression with a heartfelt touch. She strives to bring love and lightheartedness to her teaching through her gentle demeanor. She believes that yoga truly is for everyone as mindfulness is the root of the practice. 

The lessons and perspective gained from studying yoga guide her in everyday life and have deeply contributed to who she is. Her greatest inspiration is found in the students who continue to show up and remind her why she loves to teach. She is honored to be welcomed into this community and can’t wait to see you in class!

Studio Classes

We offer a variety of group classes in studio throughout the week. These include basics, flow, stretch, and chair yoga. Other styles are periodically offered and will be announced when scheduled.

Private Yoga

Private one on one or couples’ yoga for those looking for a more personalized practice. This can be done in the studio or at another agreed upon location.

Events and Group Yoga

Group yoga for private events and get togethers. Also available for Aqua yoga if the location has a pool.

Yoga Basics - This class is a very beginner friendly starting point. It is a combination of stretching, strengthening, and balance work. more time is spent giving instruction on each individual pose to help you correctly get into the pose in a way that works for your body.

Stretch - This class is focused on flexibility and mobility. Most of the class is spent in a seated or lying down position, using props and breathing techniques to help open the body.

Chair -This class is done without a yoga mat. It starts off using small weights to work on upper body strength, and then moving through a series of seated and standing stretches using a chair as a prop. This class is great for those with mobility issues that may have a hard time getting on and off the floor.

Flow -This class is more intermediate. It moves at a faster pace and has more strengthening poses. This class is great for getting the body moving. It is recommended to have some yoga experience prior to taking this class, but all are welcome.

Gentle Flow and Slow Down -This class will begin slow and steady. Beginning with warmups and eventually leading into standing poses. The pace will be a slower than typical flow, staying with each pose for a few breaths. The class will end in several restorative poses with props to wind down for the evening
